I'm Jacob Stephens, and this blog is where I publish the work that has stayed with me.
Some posts are about building things for the web: websites, e-commerce work, content systems, DevOps, and reflections on how websites create value for human life. Others focus on design projects, including banners, maps, mailers, image editing, and book-related graphic work.
The blog also includes writing from different seasons of life: essays on theology and society, research papers, science writing, and creative work such as Bending Fire and The Heart... Fragile as Glass.
What holds these pieces together is a long-running interest in making, studying, and explaining things clearly. Whether the subject is software, design, research, or fiction, I return to work that helps me see a little more truly and communicate a little more plainly.
If you want a broader view beyond the blog, my selected project portfolio is at stephens.page, my resume is at resume.stephens.page, and my code repositories are at github.com/JacobStephens2.
There are still a million things I haven't done. Just you wait.
